Primary Netball League 2 2023-24

Players must be in Year 5 or 6

You may have 3 boys in your squad with only 2 boys playing on court – see rotation sheet.

We are following England Netball Bee Netball – Stingers Rules

Each game will consist of 4 x 6 minutes quarters

(This may change due to weather or light conditions but is for you to negotiate)

The ball must be a size 4, posts at 9ft and normal court markings

The squad should consist of a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 9

Please use the 7 or 8 player rotation recommended by England Netball.

It is the responsibility of the home team to provide the ball and organise the toss

Both teams must confirm attendance of the game a minimum of 3 days in advance

If a team is unable to play on the ‘agreed’ night they must ensure they contact the opposition in advance to rearrange another day of that week

If a game has to be cancelled due to inclement weather both teams can rearrange another date at their convenience.

If a team has to cancel the match within 48 hours of it being played it can be rearranged however, if it is not played by the end of the season the points will go to the team who did not cancel.

Both teams should provide an umpire, schools can negotiate in advance if there is a problem with this.

The umpires are responsible for keeping a record of the score throughout the game independently of each teams own scorers.

Please keep a record of scores; further details will follow on how to submit results – deadline for playing all games Friday 19th April 24
