Celebrate Spirit of the Games Values

This year we will be celebrating the Spirit of the Games Values throughout our competition calendar.

At each competition we will focus on one of the six values

HONESTY, SELF BELIEF, DETERMINATION, TEAMWORK, RESPECT & PASSION

We will celebrate each one in a range of ways and recognise how our young people demonstrate these whether as a performer, spectator or an official.

Each sport has been given a value:

Cross Country – Determination

Cheerleading – Passion

Basketball – Teamwork

Rowing – Determination

Inclusive Rowing and Archery – Self Belief

Sports Hall Athletics/Athletics – Determination

KS1 Gymnastics – Self Belief

Boccia – Self Belief

Netball – Teamwork

Football – Respect

Hockey - Teamwork

Dance Festival – Passion

C2S Cricket – Respect

Tennis – Honesty

Tag Rugby – Respect

Rounders  – Honesty

Tri Golf – Honesty
